Mmm, Popsicles!

So three blogs in, and I realize I am horrible about posting new blogs. I have been pretty occupied with work, and with this sweet little 7 month old boy I know. I guess I am just trying to find excuses. I will get better at this...promise! So at 6 1/2 months, we were told to start introducing Noah to "soft table food." Popsicles included, right? My sister-in-law decided to let him try hers, and this is how it went!

Silly boy!

Baby Laughs

At six weeks, Noah started smiling. It melted my heart. Could anything be any sweeter? That was until he started laughing. The first thing to ever make him laugh was Lola, our 4-year-old Maltipoo. He LOVES to laugh at his daddy, because daddy is always a bit more silly than mommy. He loves Lola's toys that squeak. He even laughs until he gives himself the hiccups. Such a silly boy! We had never heard such a thing...until yesterday.

Below is a video of Jonathan's coworker Monty entertaining Noah...enjoy!

I guess this officially makes me a blogger!

Well, I've gone from creating a family website with my husband (http://theshellfamily.com/) to finally caving in and creating my own blog. Bear with me, because I'm sure this will take quite some time for me to get it where I want it to be.

I am a mother, wife, daughter, and sister. I married the love of my life on May 20, 2006, and we were blessed with our first child, Noah Patrick, on October 15, 2009. Time seems to be flying by (a little too quickly at times), but I love my life. I wouldn't change anything about it!

Oh, and I'm a die-hard Auburn fan! I was raised in a typical southern home, with a touch of orange and blue of course! I must say I'm thankful for my sweet hubby being an Auburn fan as well. I don't think I could have married him otherwise! Nothing against other teams...just a personal preference.

Can I just say that having/raising a baby is nothing like what I thought it would be? It's not an easy task, but I don't think I could love anything more! My child is truly the most precious gift I could have ever received. I'm definitely looking forward to blogging about my little family and our life together!
